SF Climate Week is proud to announce a partnership with the 9Zero Climate Innovation Hub. As the Official Hub of SF Climate Week, 9Zero will host more than two dozen events, welcoming thousands of visitors through the doors of 350 California Street. Launched during SF Climate Week 2024, 9Zero is the city’s first and only dedicated climate hub. Through events, collaborative spaces, and connections, 9Zero brings together founders, investors, engineers, scientists, and innovators to drive impactful climate action

We spoke to Matthew Joehnk and Duncan Logan, cofounders of 9Zero, about the power of building community through in-person connection.

“Through the 9Zero Club, we’re bringing members together across the broad spectrum of climate as well as enabling our community to go deep into sectors to connect with others in their niche,” said Joehnk. “Our partnership with SFCW as the official hub is a great opportunity to further unite the entire climate ecosystem.”

In under a year, 9Zero has rapidly expanded from San Francisco to Seattle, with a New York hub coming in Q2. Additional hubs in Boston and LA are planned in the next 12 months, all dedicated to accelerating climate solutions through uniting the climate community, events, and connections.

“Community is a contact sport, if you want to be successful in climate you need to immerse yourself in the greatest density of people who share that passion,” Logan said. “Success is infectious, and for those taking a climate career seriously, we are working hard to build the preeminent location.”

Located in the heart of all the SF Climate Week action in downtown SF, 9Zero will host a variety of events, including marquee events with Climatebase, Climactic, Super Climate, and the Flagship Founder & Investor Mixer. United by a shared goal of facilitating vital connections, SF Climate Week and 9Zero are working together to empower the climate community to move the conversation forward and catalyze real-world action.
